Leads Direct can offer standard leads and cables as well as specials made to your own requirements in bulk either from stock or from our far east factories. Discounts vary according to product and quantity ordered but can be enormous, with 50 - 80% against single unit prices not being at all unusual if the quantities are high enough.
Orders of this type we have processed include 13,000 SCART cables for a UK distributor of AV eqiupment, 15,000 network cables in various lengths for an installer, 2,000 motherboard leads for a manufacturer, 1,000 serial cables for a major UK food chain for their point of sale equipment, and so on.
How many do I have to buy?
Leads and Cables of any type can be made, but for far east orders there are different MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) requirements depending on various factors including the type of cable and whether or not it is a standard product. If it is an entirely bespoke offering new tooling may be necessary which may increase the per cable cost or may be billed separately.
The main bulk price breaks come at 100+, 1,000+ and 5,000+ pieces.
How long does it take?
Standard leads and cables can often be supplied from stock for lower quantity orders (from a few hundred to a thousand pieces), sometimes even on a next day service if you order early enough in the day.
Lead time for far east orders from ordering to delivery varies according to many factors including the state of the high seas and the speed with which UK Customs process the goods on arrival, but typically we quote 8 to 13 weeks with an average of 10 weeks from order.
Custom leads made by hand in our own workshops can take only a few days up to a few weeks depending on your exact requirements.

Our online site does not know about bulk pricing, so each bulk order has to be placed via telephone, fax, email or personal call.
